Hans has some 30 years of experience in international business.
As a business lawyer, as marketing and sales manager, as manager of legal professionals, as business development manager.
Having started his career for a US-Dutch engineering & contracting firm, Hans then contributed to chemicals & life science multinational Royal DSM’s business growth and transformation over the last 25 years.
During that time he acted as general counsel for almost all business groups in DSM’s ‘performance materials’-cluster; managed and coached a team of 17 legal counsel; and was member of DSM Group Legal Affairs’ international Management Team. During all this time, he continued hands-on contract drafting and negotiations with customers and business partners.
Business experience was gained as sales engineer in France, as marketing and sales-manager and general product manager, and as director ‘strategic projects’ for DSM Dyneema.
